(به گمانم خیلی خوب است که این هوشیاری را اول نسبت به خودمان داشته باشیم... فرهنگ خودمان را به عنوان عضو کوچکی از جامعه با فرهنگ اسلامی بسنجیم، ببینیم که چه اشکالاتی در درون فکرمان هست ... البته این کار نیازمند شناخت صحیح فرهنگ اسلامی است... این نکته دید وسیع داشتن هم خیلی نکته مهمی است!!)
مشکلات فرهنگی صعب العلاج است... اگر واقعا یک ضایعه فرهنگی در کشوری به وجود بیاید این چیزی نیست که آسان بشود آن را برطرف کرد، سالها طول می شکد و تلاش زیادی لازم است.
یک فرصت استثنایی به دست این کشور و این ملت آمد و آن انقلاب بود..... انقلاب یک فرصت طلایی را در اختیار این ملت گذاشت که مشکلات فرهنگی خودش را اصلاح کند؛ یعنی در واقع یک جا به جایی های عظیم فرهنگی، یک تکانهای شدید و زمین لرزه های فرهنگی به وجود آمد...
ممکن است خود ما در اوایل انقلاب قصورهایی داشته باشیم، شاید اگر آن وقت فرصت کاری اجازه می داد و می توانستیم در مورد مسائل درست فکر کنیم و با برنامه ریزی کار کنیم، برای رفع مشکلات فکری به وجود آمده در طول قرنها در این کشور، از آن فرصت ها خیلی استفاده می شد... آن فرصت ها از ما گرفته شد... اما الان هنوز فرصت هست؛ یعنی خوشبختانه هنوز روحیه و آمادگی انقلاب در این کشور وجود دارد و امیدواریم که همواره وجود داشته باشد.
اشکال ضایعات فرهنگی این است که زود فهمیده نمی شوند... مسائل فرهنگی در دراز مدت اثر می کند و دیر فهمیده می شود....
